These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of services provided by Saol Sona Ireland (“we,” “us,” “our”), including participation in our events, activities, and membership program (“Saol Sona Society”). By accessing our website or participating in any of our offerings, you (“you,” “your,” “Member,” or “Participant”) agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Membership: Saol Sona Society
1.1 Eligibility
Membership in the Saol Sona Society is open to individuals aged 18 years or older.
1.2 Non-Transferability
Memberships are strictly personal, non-transferable, and may only be used by the individual who has purchased the membership.
1.3 Membership Benefits
Discounts and other benefits afforded under membership status are available exclusively to the named member and may not be shared or used by others.
1.4 Cancellation by Provider
Saol Sona Ireland reserves the right to revoke or cancel any membership at its sole discretion for due cause, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, misuse of benefits, inappropriate conduct, or any action deemed harmful to the community or brand.
1.5 Refund Policy
All membership fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or in the event of a duplicate or erroneous transaction.
2. Events and Activities
2.1 Non-Refundable
All payments for events and activities are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to illness, scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, or dissatisfaction.
2.2 Event Modifications
We reserve the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel events at our discretion. In such cases, participants may be offered alternative arrangements but shall not be entitled to a refund unless otherwise required by law.
2.3 Assumption of Risk
By participating in any event, including but not limited to hikes, swims, sauna sessions, or outdoor gatherings, you acknowledge and accept that:
Such activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property loss, or death.
You are voluntarily assuming full responsibility for all such risks and for ensuring that you are physically and mentally capable of participating.
You are responsible for bringing any necessary supplies (e.g., food, water, medication, proper clothing).
You understand that activities may take place in uncontrolled environments with unpredictable weather and terrain.
2.4 Waiver of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you hereby waive and release Saol Sona Ireland, its owners, employees, volunteers, affiliates, agents, event leaders, and partners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in any event, activity, or use of services.
You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saol Sona Ireland from any and all claims arising from your conduct or participation.
3. Community and Group Chat Conduct
3.1 Confidentiality
All group chats, including but not limited to WhatsApp, Telegram, or similar platforms, are intended as private community spaces. Sharing, reproducing, or disseminating content, messages, or member information from these groups without explicit permission is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Conduct Standards
Harassment, abuse, discrimination, or misuse of shared information will result in immediate removal from all platforms and may result in termination of membership without refund.
3.3 Enforcement
Saol Sona Ireland reserves the right to monitor communications and take any necessary action to protect members and the integrity of the community, including reporting inappropriate conduct to relevant authorities if warranted.
4. Photography and Media Use
By attending events, you consent to being photographed or recorded and for such media to be used for promotional purposes by Saol Sona Ireland, unless you notify the organiser in writing prior to the event.
5. Data Protection and Privacy
All personal data collected by Saol Sona Ireland is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. Data is used solely for operational purposes (e.g., event coordination, marketing communication) and is never sold to third parties. You may unsubscribe from communications at any time.
6. Termination and Suspension
Saol Sona Ireland reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to events, membership, or community platforms at any time and without prior notice if you are found to be in breach of these Terms.
7. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website, services, or participation in events constitutes acceptance of the most current version of this Agreement.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
